Morganville has teamed up with Hairless Films (Daniele Wilmouth) to create a 16mm film whose title is "A Heretic's Primer".

Inspired by Morganville's repertoire of live performance works and Wilmouth's established cinematic language, the film “A Heretic's Primer” attempts to address critical social issues in contemporary society - specifically gender & class discrimination, power dynamics & abuse in familial & sexual relationships, the construction & manipulation of desire by culture & media, and the effects of history on shaping individual identity.

Daniele has been working hard on editting A Heretic's Primer. We are in the process of contacting the musicians we'd like to use for the soundtrack, adding some more footage shot in early April, and looking investors.
